Where Is Kim Jong-un?
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is apparently staying well away from Pyongyang in a country retreat after the ouster of eminence grise Jang Song-taek.
Kim was last seen in public at a military base in Ryanggang Province on Nov. 29. The official KCNA news agency reported that Kim toured the province on Nov. 30, but he has not been pictured since. Some North Korea watchers believe Kim is still lying low in Ryanggang Province, which is on the border with China.
KCNA reported on Dec. 1 that Kim sent a congratulatory message to Laos and encouraged workers on Dec. 5, but there were no official sightings.

Kim left Pyongyang at around the time that South Korean intelligence officials have pinpointed as the time when two of Jang's close confidants were publicly executed. Kim seems to have been accompanied by the head of his state security agency and other top officials.
Ri Yong-ha and Jang Soo-kil, who were public executed in November, "were both high-ranking officials in the Workers Party and it is highly likely that they were investigated for damaging the party by high-ranking members," said Chung Sung-jang at the Sejong Institute.
Chung said Ri was accused of abusing his authority, while Jang was found guilty of trying to organize a new faction and rejecting the system.
But sources said there were no signs of unrest in Pyongyang or elsewhere
Like so many NK photos, that one is creepy. “A life without joy.”
The uncle was apparently putting together his own power base and his own police force or something. This has Dear Nephew spooked. Auntie ain’t said nothing publicly, so she apparently supports her nephew.
That is a very odd country.
I count seven women enjoying themselves at the water park.
He just served me Broccoli beef at the place up the street. Maybe it wasn’t him. But it was a dead ringer.
If so that guy could be the star of a parody film about N Korea.
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook’s
Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein
I bet most facilities are segregated by sex.
They study Nero and Caligula as examples of how not to do it.
No Kidding, you can google it, Lake City, Florida has a place called “Fu King Chinese” restaurant. Even has a banner out front letting you know that “We have Fu King T-shirts”.
I suppose people have asked the owner to change the Fu King name of his Fu King restaurant, and I suppose he Fu King ignored them.
Exactly what chilled me out. The government will supervise and view your every moment.
Watch this presentation by B. R. Meyers. It’s a bit lengthy, but it goes a long way to explaining why North Korea and its ruling family has held power. To summarize - North Korea is the bastard offspring of Imperial Japan and while it may be communist economically, socially the regime is based off of ethnic nationalism and blood purity. Just watch the whole thing, trust me, it’s worth it.

that little prick. Hope him and all the leadership of that hell hole north korea are hanging by the neck, dead and having suffered severe torture and a very painful and excruciatingly long drawn out death with eyes wide open. Even that would be too good for the sobs after what they have done to millions of innocent women and children over the past decades. When the SHTF and Israel has to respond in mass with nukes on all the muslim capitals and mecca, I hope they lob a few at fat boy just for the hell of it.
Watched it, thank you. Excellent!
Ow, give the little pudgy perv a break.
He just got a large shipment of porno movies from Los Angeles, and he’s in his personal retreat playing with his wanker!
Sounds like Old Unc had a pretty good network and Nephew doesn’t believe all of them have been outed, so he’s avoiding a Brutus moment by staying away. That to me suggests a serious internal division and Nephew may not have a full handle on the reins of power.
Fu King A!
I agree. He is probably trying to ferret out how big Uncle’s network really was. This is why hundreds of cadres are being called to Pyongyang. They might just off all of them. You never can tell.
a few?
I am not how North Korea’s regime would survive any kind of obvious attack on Pyongyang.
