Teachers don’t need common core as an excuse to teach garbage. These exact same stories would appear on free republic every day way before common core was around. Teachers, unions, leftist publishers and school admins are the root of the problem.

Absolutely correct. These school scandals have been on Free Republic at least as long as I have been here. Geeze! I started threads on more than my share of them.
