Not logical. Would you rather have a Dick Durbin, Jr. or a Mark Kirk, Jr.? There are too many races in which a conservative candidate cannot win. We need a majority to control committees and move our agenda forward. It’s a hard, long fight we face. We can’t get there without winning.

We’ll get there via thoughtful compromise and putting the “angels in the details”. We need to control Congress for at least a generation. We’re not going to get there in a single leap. We need a long game and long games come with compromise and some losses, but they end with victory.
Honestly, if it came down to any of the aforementioned Rats and Gillespie, I could care less who wins.
