Yet somehow progressive taxation, which punishes higher income earners, is still considered a tax and constitutional.
It’s actually the fed gov placing an illegal ration/monopoly on a product and then forcing its subjects to purchase said product or suffer legal action by the fed gov.
But, here’s the rub. Since we aint up in arms yet, we aint ever gonna be.
If this straw didn’t break the camel’s back, that back can’t be broken.
We will complain. We will make all sorts of uselessly dire threats, but in the end, we will comply.
That is what we’ve become. We are no longer citizens. We are subjects.
That is so obvious. A fine is a punishment for an action or an inaction. I park in a no parking zone. I am fined. I fail to signal before turning. I am fined.
I fail to buy Obamacare. I am fined.
