No, I think not, but they should have been shouting en masse about this to the public. We barely heard a peep.

Sarge, given the orientation of the mainstream media, how do we know the Republicans didn't sound off on this? In fact many of them did sound off, but their message never got out. If the roles had been reversed the media would have handled the matter immediately for the Democrats.

The media is the real enemy. They bury anything unfavorable to the liberal side, ignore liberal lies and hypocrisy, and distort conservative messages beyond recognition.

During the 2012 Republican convention, Mark Halperin, formerly of TIME and before that a Clinton staffer (how many Clinton staffers are "journalists" now?), came on to Charlie Rose's set in the PBS prebends in the convention hall and gloated that nobody would see either the Romney "introduction to the voters" video the GOP had put together, nor the great speech by Clint Eastwood.

Halperin, chapped by Clint's bravura performance, promised Charlie that whatever the GOP message was, would get so sliced, diced, and spun-up by Halperin's evil 'RatMedia towel buddies as to be utterly incomprehensible to the electorate. (Call that coverage "accurate, but deliberately FUBAR".)
