Sure, but do we lay down our principles along the way? Will the next mantra be, “it’s a bad immigration deal, but we have to fccus othe next election?”
It's important to lay down core principles and run on them, but, as Herman Cain said on his radio show today you have to pick your battles in order to win the war. Conservative candidates should pick three or four core values and run on them. My recommendations are : pro-life, strong military, repeal and replace the ACA, and border security. What are yours?
