The new spending is now and the cuts (which are less than the spending) is spread out of 10 years. There arfe some marginal savings on fed employee pensions but they only apply to new hires and not to the current army of bloodsuckers.

We did get something. We did get no more money for the unemployed zombies who have been collecting since practically 2008. We are VERY lucky we got that. Dems wanted extending the already too long unemployment even longer. Conservatives put their foot down on that.
