“Rogue CIA operation” = “As usual, Jim, if you are captured, the Secretary will disavow all knowledge.”

Yep, and selling out one spook is just part of the package.
Like in Benghazi, Obama is perfectly willing to throw American warriors, spies or diplomats under the bus.

The question in my mind is, Who are the rogues? In the past few decades the CIA hasn’t always been on our side. So, was this guy maybe checking out a “rogue” operation by the real leaders of the CIA—who are mostly Ivy League type leftists, from everything I have seen, and sometimes have been involved in drug smuggling and other rogue operations. Not in hiding from the CIA bosses, but following their orders.
Endless complications, and unlikely that any outsiders will learn the truth.

[Rogue analysts? Without any permission from anyone in authority? To Iran?]
Also—how did they finance and support this operation, out of their own pockets?
