Cars do last longer I’ve started buying used you can find vehicles that are like new. I’m talking about 5 years old and older. If you buy a 3 year old certified pre owned, even better.
I’m driving a luxury suv for 18k seems almost new costs 50k new.
We buy less than 1 yr old luxury cars and get fabulous deals on them. Bought my Jag that way and just recently purchased a Mercedes GLK with less than 8k miles on it the same way.
Used vehicles today are a heckuva lot better than they were 25 years ago. Cars do last longer today.
