Just how many federal workers do you know of who were asked to put their lives on the line in the performance of their duties?

It's part of the job. This is just like fireman complaining of risky situations - they signed up for it!

Yes, they signed up for the obligations. The pay and benefits were part of the deal. What kind of @$$hole says military personnel should meet their obligations and then be stripped of their pay and benefits?

and part of that sign up was the agreement re their retirement BENEFITS - not 'entitlements' -

They served their end of it - now they're being short-changed.

You okay with that...
