Shorten it even further, to Ratcare. We are all just laboratory rats in this huge social experiment.
How many times does a failed experiment have to be re-run before the social engineers finally decide that it is not working, has never worked, and no variation of the parameters shall ever cause it to work? In the process of re-inventing the wheel, for example, you do not keep cutting out the spokes until it collapses, or using only a section of the wheel and hope it keeps rotating on its axle as it gets to the part that was removed.
The whole wheel has to be there, and there must be some sort of support between the axle at the center, and the rim, where the rubber meets the road. The concept of “wheel” has been refined over the millennia that it has been in use, but certain principles must always define the wheel, or else it is a piece of useless junk.
Reinventing anything only makes sense if the modifications still allow the original purpose of the concept to function.
Let’s put it this way.

We’ve got to get past the notion that Obamacare is about getting more health insurance: it’s about power and redistribution. That’s why no matter how many people lose insurance coverage and ultimately their healthcare, the success of this law will be measured in this administration’s ability to ram intrusive, destructive laws down our throats.
Exactly. Even people who know this seem to lose correct focus, looking past what this is really for to talk about the finer points of insurance, healthcare, etc. That’s understandable-that’s what it means to people right now, in the moment. But that’s not now nor has it ever been, what this act of tyranny is about. It’s just what you said, massive wealth redistribution in one fell swoop from the productive middle to the elite/underclass alliance which constitutes the left. So many things which are happening, the things which they really prepared for and the things they are cavalier about (”they” being the left and especially the race hustlers of the left), tell the real story.
The websites don’t work for their purported purpose-but they had no problem scooping money from the idiots’ bank accounts, the people stupid enough to go there and give them that info.
The healthcare aspects are being handled by low-grade clowns-but the IRS is an established agency with a record of getting the job done, whatever they consider the job to be.
Just look at what’s being handled by whom, and how it’s being handled, to see what this is really about. It’s not healthcare, insurance, or any of those things.
One of the basic tenets in behavior improvement is clarity. What was my ‘crime’ that deserved suspension?
