There are over 300 million in this country and if the govn. were to just put a label on all of them/us from the DSM, that would be after they had taken all our guns and put chains on us and the DSM wouldn't mean anything as one can't use those labels until you test someone. So, they wouldn't bother with that book or label anyway once they had us in chains. If you arrest absolutely everyone, there is no need for a label to fake the arrest.
It is much more likely since the govn. will use your medical records due to Obamacare, will look on your record for a medicine that could be used for depression, and deny you the right to have a gun.
They could do that to me. I have fibromyalgia and take a very small pill of amitriptyline. In a large dose, we used to use that for depression. Scientists later found that a very small dose stopped/calmed down excess electricity to the muscles and helped eliminate constant muscle contraction pain. My muscle pain was so bad I stayed in a robe all day as it hurt too much to dress, then it got to the point I could barely walk. Went to neurologist thinking something terrible was wrong. He did an evaluation and said he could stop this with no problem. I didn't believe him. He gave me little pills of amitriptyline and in three days I was outside washing my car. You will never get those pills away from me. However, the govn. could say I must take them for depression, therefore I can't have a gun. That would be a lie, but I recall Hussein has lied big time about Obamacare so what difference does one more make?
Consider your medicines as that is more likely to cause you government trouble.
Since the first time there was a doctor of any kind in this world, the profession has been fallible. When I had so much muscle pain, the regular family doctor had me dosed up on hydrocodone every day but the pain was still there. The neurologist told me the pain was nerve pain and the hydrocodone was doing nothing except knocking me out, not touching the pain. My family doctor was wrong, really wrong. I have no idea what diagnosis he was using regarding my muscle pain but he must have labeled it as something in order to turn in the bill and get paid.
The DSMs before this one, was full of diagnoses, and it was up to the examiner to determine which diagnosis “fit”. I'm sure many wrong diagnoses were made. I recall as every new DMS came out, I saw gobs of new diagnoses but that didn't mean I had to use them if they didn't fit.
The way they have expanded behaviors to ADD and Autism is totally ridiculous. Another one is the new word for manic-depressive. Now, it is Bi-polar and many people want that popular diagnosis. Ridiculous. It still comes down to the individual examiner and common sense.
