Her comment was dumb. Insisting on the race of a fictional character is needless, and she hurt what was becoming a promising career.
There are black characters in the Thor movies. I didn’t know that there were black Norse gods.
They may be fictional characters but it is still racist to shoehorn in black casting where it was never written that way.
Sgt. Fury/Nick Fury, Little Orphan Annie, etc etc.
Maybe the next Shaft film could star a Chinaman.
How was it dumb? The traditional Santa has always been white.
Being from West Texas I've seen Black Santa, White Santa, and we even have had Pancho Clause around here since I was a kid and yet, I'm not traumatized or unstable as a result(although that's may be a matter of opinion).
Only Liberals could turn such a simple statement pointing out an obvious fact into a major race controversy.
Kelly's new show is a ratings monster, especially for being so new and I think the Mainstream Media was just looking for something to pound on her for to marginalize what they view as a threat.
It's a shame so many on the right are willing to jump on the Liberal dogpile.
Her prime time career is only starting and her ratings are through the roof. The MSM is all over her concerning this silly argument because they are afraid of her meteoric rise in cable news.
Is anyone allowed to state the obvious, that the fictional character of Santa Claus is pictured as white 99% of the time? How is that offensive to any one without an ax to grind?
