The Fall of the House of Tsarnaev
Boston Globe ^ | JOSIE JAMMET

Posted on 12/16/2013 1:50:49 PM PST by Hojczyk

Tamerlan Tsarnaev first heard the voice when he was a young man.

It came to him at unexpected times, an internal rambling that he alone could hear. Alarmed, he confided to his mother that the voice “felt like two people inside of me.”

As he got older, the voice became more authoritative, its bidding more insistent. Tamerlan confided in a close friend that the voice had begun to issue orders and to require him to perform certain acts, though he never told his friend specifically what those acts were.

“He was torn between those two people,” said Donald Larking, 67, who attended the mosque with Tamerlan for nearly two years. “He said that several times. And he did not like it.”

Federal investigators have suspected that Tamerlan, the 26-year-old boxer from southern Russia who is believed, along with his brother, to have set off the deadly Boston Marathon bombs in April, was motivated, if not deliberately directed, by real life jihadist revolutionaries on the other side of the globe. But an investigation by the Boston Globe suggests that Tamerlan was in the perilous grip of someone far more menacing: himself.

By 2008, five years after they’d all arrived in the United States, the Tsarnaev family had expanded and their cramped third-floor apartment, tucked in one of the run-down triple deckers on Norfolk Street, was as crowded as it was loud. At varying times there were one or two babies, the offspring of the Tsarnaev’s two teenage daughters; three adults; and three teenagers occupying 800 square feet of living space designed for a family half their size. Their shoes spilled down the stairway; their voices rang out the windows.

Medical experiences of his victims should be run as a parallel column. All they wanted to do that day was view a footrace, not be maimed for life.

He too suffered from affluenza? This is getting more absurd by the day.

Okay so do this:
  1. Perform an exorcism casting any demons into pigs near a cliff.
  2. Collect the pigs that ran off the cliff and process into bacon.
  3. Give him a chance to repent of his sins.
  4. Execute him, and let the Good Lord take it from there.
  5. Cook bacon.

Revolting rationalization. The author of the piece should be tried for fraud and sent to prisoin.

LOL, hey Boston Globe is that the best you can come with? What no Twinky defense? I thought the creative writing scholars at the Globe were better than this.

Not surprising they may have some issues with mental illness, judging by the family photo. You're bound to have some bad results when Cliff Clavin marries The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Oh, it’s that holiday season time of the year, when liberal media outfits prey on the lonely outsider emotions of their atheist counterculture readership while the rest of the nation is reveling in the holiday spirit. Oh, boo hoo.

First there was a story from the WaPo called ‘Waiting For the 8th’ about how hard it is to be an unmarried black woman in the ghetto with forty-five children living on food stamps, now we have to read this sob story about a family of foreign Muslim Sharbeeks who couldn’t adjust to life in the USA so they decided to murder people with bombs.

I’m sure this hand wringy weepy crap works on some people, but not me. I think they should take a Skil-Saw and zip off the top of this Dzokhar Tsarnaev’s head and give it to chimpanzees at the Boston Zoo to use as a frisbee.

Basically, an entire family of dysfunctional losers, some if not all of whom were prone to violence and criminality going back generations.

The article said that none of them ever "assimilated" into American life.

Exactly the sort of people we should be importing by the millions into our country. To punish us, I guess, is the thinking of the elites who run our country.

I found the article very, very interesting and saw no attempt to rationalize anything. Attempting to explain the causes of something is not necessarily rationalizing it.
