Obama's tech titan summit a wasted opportunity
Yahoo Finance ^ | December 17, 2013 | Jeff Macke

The 15 people and 3,000 IQ pts assembled in that meeting won’t have enough time to decide on seating. In 12 months this gathering of leaders could figure out a way to colonize Mars. In an hour and forty-five minutes it will be a small miracle if they are able to order lunch without a Lord of the Flies level power struggle breaking out.

The President has somehow managed to assemble some of the smartest business people in the world in a way that guarantees nothing useful will be accomplished. It’s either the most poorly constructed meeting in history or an unparalleled triumph of media manipulation. Based on the charade that was October’s similar gathering of Wall Street kingpins, the smart money is betting on the cynical photo-op interpretation.

If the stakes weren’t so high for the country, today’s meeting would be darkly amusing. Given the importance of the task at hand the waste of this group’s time calls to mind the words of poet John Greenleaf Whittier: “Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'”

When will people understand that those with the highest IQs are not necessarily the smartest!

Hmm... 15 people, 3000 IQ points? So 15 people with IQs higher than any ever recorded just happened to have convened for Baraq Soetoro?

This reporter was apparently not a scholar in simple math.

Obama will probably spend all of the time running his mouth and will not listen to a word they have to say.

It isn’t that they are or aren’t the most intelligent.

If Obama or his staff put them together, it is likely a grouping of liberals, socialists, and Marxists who couldn’t put together an edible box lunch to hand out to the other participants.

Thomas Sowell covers this brilliantly in his book Intellectuals and Society.

Who, other than the libtard propagandist spewing this filth, decided that the 15 morons that met with the unaccomplished jug-eared ignoramus were the “smartest business people in the world.” Seems to me that anyone with half the sense God gave dirt could figure out that spending time with the ignorant POS pResident is nothing but a waste of time and resources.

The gerbilist in question should be put into the pencil sharpener. It wouldn’t hurt.

Why does he need so much help doing his job? Can’t he figure out that nothing he’s done so far has worked so it’s unlikely anyone kowtowing to him has the solutions either?

For equality in this country, a person has to WORK and HARD!!! If he hasn’t learned this at his age, there is no HOPE for him. If he stays any longer and gets any more bright ideas, there’s no hope for US either.
