Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! BTW I warned an older woman co worker about the coyotes because she arrives before daybreak.
First she said coyotes are only in rural areas way out west.
Then she said even if there was a coyote here it’s just like a puppy and wouldn’t hurt a human.
STUPID!
BONUS: I got a better look overnight. There were two and they weren’t coyotes. They are coywolves/eastern coyotes, a hybrid of a coyote and a wolf. Shortly after I saw them this morning a police car arrived and the officer was checking the tracks. That means other people have seen them.
What, pray tell, is the "Cyber gumband SNAP!" list?
And, can anyone supply the link to Jim Quinn's twitter, please? I was under the impression, that Jim didn't have one, but that others had 'hijacked' his name.

Since this thread started as a Pittsburgh-oriented thread (Q&R home city), we use a bit of Pittsburgh lingo. A ‘gumband’ is Pittsburgh-ese for rubber band. One of our members suggested we call it a cyber-gumband snap’ list instead of a ping list. Many of us are or were from Pittsburgh. Since then, we have welcomed many FRiends from all over. So, I ‘snap’ everybody with the cyber gumband every morning to let them know the thread is posted!

a) they are under a six-month noncompete
and
b) they were fired (official statements notwithstanding)
Interestingly 104.7 is running a Bloomdaddy promo in which he rails against animal rights wackos. Trying desperately to make him sound like Quinn.

Yeah, no kidding - unless the contract included firing under the non-complete claus. I haven’t had the “pleasure” of listening to ‘ol Bloomy - but if he’s as bad as people have said...is that really competing? :)

Running out to Lowes after work to stock up on 60 Watt bulbs. Get’em while they’re hot! You won’t be able to after the first of the year - or the 40 watt bulbs either!
You will still be able to get rough surface bulbs..stronger the the ones being banned...
