When John Kerry isn't busy trying to help Iran obtain nuclear weapons or stabbing Israel in the back, he is doing the bidding of the United Nations -- and Mexico -- trying to save the life of an illegal alien cop-killer.
You heard that right.
Edgar Arias Tamayo, a 46-year old Mexican man, was in the country illegally when he killed Houston police officer Guy Gaddis. Tamayo was arrested by Gaddis outside a nightclub in 1994 for robbery. While being transported to jail, Tamayo pulled out a hidden gun and fatally shot Gaddis twice in the back of the head, execution-style.
Tamayo is -- finally -- scheduled to be executed January 22nd, after a disgraceful 20 year delay.
But Kerry wants Texas to call it off. Why? Because Tamayo was not "notified of his right" to contact the Mexican consulate, "in violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations".
You see, Tamayos case was one of 51 in the U.S. 14 of them in Texas that the International Court of Justice, the United Nations top judicial body, called on the United States to review for possible violations of the Vienna Convention.
And as he has his entire career -- from his lies about his fellow soldiers in Vietnam in the 1970s, to his support for Nicaraguan Communists allied with the Soviet Union in the 80s -- John Kerry has always put the interests of Americans last.
So now Kerry is warning Texas officials earlier this week that Tamayo's planned execution "could do more harm than good", especially in regards to Americans detained overseas.
Kerry noted in a letter to Texas Gov. Rick Perry and state Attorney General Greg Abbott that he while didn't question Tamayo's conviction, he claimed that the supposed "violation" of an international convention could have "repercussions for Americans who are locked up abroad".

If he wanted to live so much he shouldn’t have committed murder in Texas. Period. End of story.
I’m glad he realizes that Texas is another country.
Now we know for sure which side Kerry is on.

didn’t he use goulish to refer to the wrong person?

He’s citing possible repercussions for American’s held abroad?? Really?? Is there not an American or two held in Iran right now, that were not part of this evil deal with Iran?
I honestly do not understand this world currently, everything is as insane as I could ever fear.
Fry the bastard.
That’s no problem, he’ll probably get a full pardon from Obama.
He’ll add that power by executive order.
That’s what I’m thinking. Tell the UN to bugger off. They have no say in it. We should never let the UN believe for one second that they have any authority whatsoever in the USA. I’d listen to a local girl scout before anyone from the UN.
Go to hell Mr. Kerry.
Nope, he couldn't nor the American being held hostage by Iran. Electing traitor trash to office is a really bad idea.
Democrats have been trying to establish precedence of global jurisdiction over American sovereignty for nigh on a century. This is simply another step.
Kerry should trade places with the killer to save him!
Benedict Arnold had more credibility than John “Effin’” Jerry ever had in his pinky finger...
As far as what this Texan believes is the right thing to do...
Don’t bother swabbing the site where they stick the needle in the convicted criminals arm...Use the dirty, rusty one, with all the other filth they have executed over the years to save money...
I seriously doubt our executing illegal aliens who have committed and been convicted in a court of law in this country will effect the way criminals are treated in foriegn countries anyway...
This is just a way for the D.C. elites to capitulate to foriegn interests on a subject that even those foriegn nations could care less about...
The facade’ is all make-believe...
I’d buy that for a dollar!!!
The perp shoot the cop in the back, and lurch stabs the Ameicans in the back - again.
The Texas governor is restricted by law from doing much of anything to slow, let alone stop, the execution. It will be happening, short of a Presidential pardon.
It should be against the law for US officials to seek international pressure against a US government on a domestic issue. It should also be against the law to use taxpayer money to fund a private lawsuit against the government, which the EPA frequently does.
