He only served in the state senate a couple of years. He only served in the US Senate a couple of years.
The MSM wanted someone who would be or appear to be greater than GWBush, so they made Obama into the image they wanted. His claim to fame? He was good at reading prepared speeches off a teleprompter.
Had YOU and the rest of the media done the job you claim is yours -- vetting candidates, you would have discovered how shallow Obama was. But he fitted a profile that the MSM could elevate. That was okay, until it began to lose air and faultered.
The first questions "I" asked when Obama was giving the speech to launch his candidacy in February of 2007 was:
Who is this guy and who is backing him? One doesn't just wake up on day and decide to run for the presidency.
The MSM never answered those questions.
Obama bought the media hype. That is why the styrofoam Greek columns at his first acceptance speech after he won in 2008. Those columns were as fake as he was.
