Incompetence
Wall Street Journal ^ | 12-17-13 | Peggy Noonan

Posted on 12/18/2013 9:41:48 AM PST by afraidfortherepublic

Everyone is doing thoughtful year-end pieces on President Obama. Writers and reporters agree he’s had his worst year ever. I infer from most of their essays an unstated but broadly held sense of foreboding: There’s no particular reason to believe next year will be better, and in fact signs and indications point to continued trouble.

I would add that in recent weeks I have begun to worry about the basic competency of the administration, its ability to perform the most fundamental duties of executive management. One reason I worry is that I frequently speak with people who interact with the White House, and when I say, “That place just doesn’t seem to work,” they don’t defend it, they offer off-the-record examples of how poorly the government is run. One thing that’s clear this holiday season: New York’s Democrats, to the degree they ever loved the president, don’t love him anymore, and have moved on. They are not thinking about what progress he might make in Washington next year, they’re talking about what Hillary might do the year after that.

My worries came home with a certain freshness after the Mandela memorial, where the United States Secret Service allowed the president of the United States to stand for 19 minutes next to the famous sign-language interpreter who, it was quickly revealed, was not only a fraud but a schizophrenic con man who is now said to have been involved in two deaths. ~snip~ That said, it still looks like very basic negligence, as if no one is keeping enough of an eye on the Secret Service, no one’s checking the quality of the advance or sending emails asking: “Hey, what do we know about the sign language guy—any chance he’s a mentally ill criminal?”

It all looks so lax, so loosey-goosey.

How can anyone still say Obama is incompetent? He is not - he just doesn’t care. These aren’t his priorities. He’s focused on his goal, the big picture. He is a revolutionary and he and his cronies are well on their way to their planned blood-less coup d’état. Health care is the big prize as it gives them life and death control - and control, total control is what they seek. After that all they need is amnesty to secure a Dem president for the next 100 yrs. and their golden - and we are so screwed. Wake up America!

In the next 3 years I won’t be surprised if NATO attacks the US and goes on to win the war in just a few weeks.

Surely Peggy Noonan doesn’t really think that Obama would have the will or guts to act decisively on a nuclear threat. The “codes” are hardly the weak link here.

Peggy can’t possibly be figuring out only now, that both the puppet and the puppeteers are empty vessels. Is this just her fuzzy way of softening up lefties to the hard fact that things fall apart when leaders are incompetent, and that falling apart has consequences? That three more years of this idiot are so dangerous that he needs to go NOW? It is hard to read this otherwise.

It’s possible to be both incompetent and dangerously destructive. You accomplish that when your main goal is to destroy the country and the good things that you claim to produce are screwed up by blinding incompetence.

Remember all the dumb kids in school who required the teacher to go over and over the same material and still didn’t catch on? They’re in charge now. That’s what happens when political correctness finally wins out over the meritocracy.

I was a little surprised that Noonan seemed so ... well, "alarmed" by it all after the unmitigated worshipful butt kissing done previously. Even Baba Wawa (Barbara Walters) is confessing to the realization that he is disappointingly no "messiah". As for NOW , that would be nice.

He’s never run a business, city or a State. He’s no education in economics, no experience in foreign affairs and the claim of being a constitutional scholar is laughable because he doesn’t agree with it anyway.

Now we see gross mismanagement, incompetence, deceit, chaos, etc. while the world laughs at us.

...and people are surprised. I’d LOL if it weren’t so serious.

MESSAGE TO WORLD DICTATORS: This chump isn’t going to do anything substantive if you make a move now...you know it and so do we.

This is what happens when you make a leftist academic the leader of the free world. Twice. Given the ignorance of the average voter I doubt we’ve learned our lesson.

Well, judging by that one Secret Service guy who came out with the anti-Obama book, they may be intentionally trying to lift his veil of protection.

Yes, it was nice back in the days before I knew what she really is.

I think Jimmy Carter was an incompetent president who was in way over his head. 0bama is an evil person who hates America and is doing a damn good job of destroying our country and our liberty.

&&&
Bingo! I wish the Soros Administration was, indeed, incompetent. But they are not, and they are systematically destroying our country. The stupid website was very successful at what it was constructed to do, i.e., create chaos and crisis in health care.
