Larry Klayman in huge CNN smackdown

Conservative legal activist Larry Klayman got into an argument on CNN with host Don Lemon and legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin when he was brought on to discuss his victory this week in a lawsuit challenging NSA surveillance, resulting in Lemon cutting him off the screen and Klayman comparing Lemon to disgraced former MSNBC host Martin Bashir.

Klayman’s appearance Tuesday night on CNN was preceded by a profile of him that included a quotation from a former George W. Bush staffer saying his lawsuits were about “fighting for himself and his own, in my opinion, delusions of grandeur.”

When Klayman was brought into the conversation, he came out firing.

“I think it is important to note that you’re a big supporter of Obama,” Klayman said to Lemon. “That you have favored him in every respect. You have to try to do a hit piece to diminish a very important decision.”

Don Lemon is a gigantic liberal.

Toobin is a liberal who likes to pretend he is intellectually honest.

Bottom line? The media, Pollutico and CNN especially, have failed to be objective journalists. Klayman beat the Clown in court, while those two outlets have been amplifiers for the leftists' agenda.

So what do they do? Attack the guy who won in court.

I haven't been a Klayman supporter, and yes he has done some kooky stuff. But hey: he is fighting against the fascism in BO's administration and that is a GOOD thing.

Bull crap. What rock were you under throughout the Clinton's eight years. Larry Klayman was the biggest loser among lots of losers who went up against the Clinton's. He became a national embarrassment. I'm wondering if he mentioned that he had someone else in the filing? I did not see the program. "The case was brought by Larry Klayman, a conservative lawyer, and Charles Strange, father of a cryptologist killed in Afghanistan when his helicopter was shot down in 2011. His son worked for the NSA and carried out support work for Navy Seal Team Six, the elite force that killed Osama bin Laden.

Too many on our side follow the Liberal Media spin on everything and attacked those who are actually trying to do something to counter the left and Democrats. Too many on our side attacked the Obama Eligibility supporters...directly aiding Obama in 2008 and 2012...and helping Obama get elected

The biggest "problem" with Klayman is that he's not partisian in his attacks. If you read all the media stories about him during Clinton's terms, you'd think his given name was "Conservative", as that was always prepended to any description of him, to attempt to portray him as nothing but a right-winger attack dog. Along came the Bush admins, and he kept doing the same stuff he'd been doing. You found lots of antipathy for him at this site then, which I always thought was rather short-sighted and myopic. Now that he's back attacking democrats (because that's where the power is), "our side" seems to like him again.

Sadly, he's had to work in an extremely corrupt environment (the American legal system), so he hasn't been nearly as successful in his efforts at shining light in dark corners as I wish he could be. His efforts do shine a light of sorts on the corruption of the legal system though, as well as the executive, which I think is commendable regardless of the ultimate outcomes of individual cases.
