WEST MONROE, La. (CBS Houston/AP) – ”Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson has been suspended indefinitely from filming the A&E reality series following his remarks about gay people where he called homosexuality illogical in a recent interview with GQ magazine.

Despite the suspension, A&E still has several hours of “Duck Dynasty” programming over the next week. For Thursday night, there is three hours of shows the network is airing. On Sunday Dec. 22, A&E will be airing the popular show from 5 p.m. until 4 a.m. the next morning. On Monday Dec. 23, episodes will air from 7 p.m. until 4 a.m. the next morning. On Christmas Eve, “Duck Dynasty” will be aired from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. And on Christmas Day, A&E will air “Duck Dynasty” episodes from 3:30 p.m. until 4 a.m. the next morning. All times are Eastern.

If A&E truly wanted to make a statement, wouldn’t they just DROP Duck Dynasty instead of just suspending Phil?

Yep. Typical Hollywood: "Aren't we wonderful?!- We're taking this courageous stand!!" (... as long as it doesn't hurt our bottom line).
Maybe Duck Dynasty should look for a different venue such as a religious channel.
a&e will not be turned back on in my home until Phil is apologized to and rehired or never again if they fail to do so.
A&E looks like hypocrites
You can bet Willie and some lawyers are looking for breaches of contract by AnusE.
If you have access to the show, and if you watched it in the past, then it seems to me that the best play is to make certain you watch it.
Including DD in a boycott of A & E is not very smart.
Considering that the show isn’t really in production right now anyway?
A cash cow like that, you don’t eat all at once.
Do you think it wise to help crash DD's numbers? Boycott everything BUT DD is a smarter move - imo.
Oh there’s a breech alright. Title VII of the Civil Rights act makes religion a protected class in employee/employer relationships. Phils religious speech is protected. Turn their own canons on them.
I’m torn. It’s almost like a host and parasite thing.
A&E being the parasite since DD is the only thing on that grabs ratings.
Phil and Miss K are most of the show. A&E has effectively killed it.

They will get picked up by someone in a nanosecond.
Why boycott all of A&E? Watch the duck guys and boycott the rest of the shows.
No greater message could be sent to the execs that viewers prefer vaginas to anuses.
