Blackburn: White House in 'Full Panic Mode' Over Obamacare
newsmax.com ^ | December 19, 2013 | Melanie Batley

Posted on 12/20/2013 8:07:35 AM PST by Tailgunner Joe

Republican lawmakers are blasting the Obama administration's decision to exempt large numbers of people from having to buy insurance under Obamacare — a last-ditch attempt to help the millions of people who received insurance cancellation notices because of the new healthcare law. ....

"We asked Secretary Sebelius point blank what would be the next holiday surprise, and she was silent. Yet, here we are with another major policy shift," said Tennessee GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Fox reports. "The sad reality is that when the law takes effect come Jan. 1, more Americans will be without coverage under Obamacare than one year ago."

"Less than two weeks from going live, the White House seems to be in full panic mode. Rather than more White House delays, waivers, and exemptions, the administration should provide all Americans relief from its failed law," she added.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., called it a "slap in the face" to those already enrolled in Obamacare.

"Holding a fire sale of cheap insurance is not a responsible fix for a broken program. This is a slap in the face to the thousands of Americans who have already purchased expensive insurance through the Obamacare exchanges," he said.

The insurance industry also reacted negatively to the news, saying the decision to allow people to sign up for "catastrophic" coverage plans would cause tremendous "instability."

"This latest rule change could cause significant instability in the marketplace and lead to further confusion and disruption for consumers," Karen Ignagni, head of America's Health Insurance Plans, the industry trade group, told the Journal.

Just imagine if those of us with employer provided health insurance were having to deal with this fiasco!! What a nightmare! No wonder he keeps delaying that part of it, there would be millions more with no insurance.

First, you have to understand the mindset of a liberal.

1. They believe that government, all government, is ‘good’.
2. They believe that corporations, all corporations, are ‘bad’.
3. They believe that people, all people, are not capable of making good decisions in their own best interest.
4. They believe that only government can ‘solve’ every problem known to man.
5. They believe that no one should have any more wealth than any one else.
6. They believe that all people are created equal, and they intend to make them stay that way........................

Every republican candidate next year needs to run on a promise to repeal the law.

“I feel that they are looking for a conflict to exploit. “

Look no further, Cong. Stevel LaTourette (a Boner sycophant) has pledged to raise $8 million to go after the Tea Party candidates next year. With the GOPe’s help, the RATs have an easier time staying in power. That’s the “conflict” we should be working to stop, because if Boner and old Goiter Chin stay in control of the GOP, the needed changes are not going to take place. We need to pick out the most vulnerable RINOs and remove them from office. And in two years, pick another group and do the same thing. This is not a one election cycle process. It may take as long as ten years of concerted effort to return the Republican Party to the values it had when Ronnie was president. The main thing is to force the GOPe to spend money on these a$$holes. Force them to spread out their resources. The are our real enemy.

What is the date for We The People to rally in DC?

I’m convinced that it needs to be more than a rally. It needs to be a Revolution, and I will be there when, and if, it happens.

Obama stepped in it. And each time he tries to step out of it he steps in it again.

Time for a War or a Waco or some poor innocent ‘Gay’ victim or.... anything to distract us.

Not much you can say to someone that believes that

I've had similar conversations with liberals. They truly believe that the people who work for government are somehow better and more noble than the people who are employed in private sector business.

Even if they agree with you that government is more corrupt than business, more wasteful than business and more incompetent than business, they'd still prefer to have government run their lives than choose from alternatives in a free market.

It's a sickness that no amount of reason can cure.

On Fox last night (I think it was the Kelly Files) an insurance analyst said he examined the “hardship insurance” and it was the worst of both worlds: it was not less costly than the Bronze plans, and placed the policy holder into a “hardship pool”, not the standard pool.

Same rubber duckie, different color.

It’s way past time to vote out RINOs. Make an example of them, by name, for their treason! Let the self-serving, amoral, power-hungry Elitist sleaze see what happens when they go against their constituents.

RINOs can start packing starting with La Tourette.

Just day before yesterday, at the good-ol-boys round table salon and tea & crumpets tête-à-tête in our local country propane and hay store, we were reviewing possible future scenarios regarding the devolution of obamacare and obama. I posited the following:

1. That if the Republicans would just twiddle their thumbs pretty much about everything for next 3-4 months, obamacare would become so unraveled that the Democrats would be forced to beg the Republicans to save them, and that regardless of any legislative changes that might thereby result in a bipartisan fashion, obama would veto it all, preferring to see the complete destruction of the medical system and the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, as well as the total destruction of the Democrat Party for at least two generations, rather than admit he was wrong about something.

2. That it was highly likely that obama would soon totally panic over the chaos wrought by obamacare and descend into utter lawlessness by attempting to govern completely by diktat, and that therefore there was also a reasonable probability that obama’s attempted dictatorship would eventually become so severe that Congress would be forced to initiate impeachment.

It would appear that this second prediction is now starting to come true.

First of all, why would insurance companies break the law just because obama asks them to?

Second, all those people who already bought expensive insurance on obamacare can simply stop paying premiums. They’ll still be covered for 90 days.

**White House in ‘Full Panic Mode’ Over Obamacare**

With good reason! Read this excellent analogy, ObamaFlowers, that I got in an email and then pass it on.

Hello, Welcome to ObamaFlowers, My name is Trina. How can I help you?

(Customer) Hello, I received an email from Professional Flowers stating that my flower order has been canceled and I should go to your exchange to reorder it. I tried your website, but it seems like it is not working. So I am calling the 800 number.

(Receptionist) Yes, I am sorry about the website. It should be fixed by the end of November – or maybe December. But I can help you.

(Customer) Thanks, I ordered a “Spring Bouquet” for our anniversary, and wanted it delivered to my wife.

(Receptionist Interrupting) Sir, “Spring Bouquets” do not meet our minimum standards, I will be happy to provide you with Red Roses.

(Customer) But I have always ordered “Spring Bouquets”, done it for years, my wife likes them.

(Receptionist) Roses are better, sir. I am sure your wife will love them.

(Customer) Well, how much are they?

(Receptionist) It depends sir, do you want our Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum package.

(Customer) What’s the difference?

(Receptionist) 6, 12,18 or 24 Red Roses.

(Customer) The Silver package may be okay, how much is it?

(Receptionist) It depends sir, what is you monthly income?

(Customer) What does that have to do with anything?

(Receptionist) I need that to determine your government flower subsidy, then I can determine how much your out of pocket cost will be. But if your income is below our minimums for a subsidy, then I can refer you to our FlowerAid department.

(Customer) FlowerAid?

(Receptionist) Yes, Flowers are a Right, everyone has a right to flowers. So, if you can’t afford them, then the government will supply them free of charge.

(Customer) Who said they were a Right?

(Receptionist) Congress passed it, the President signed it and the Supreme Court found it Constitutional.

(Customer) Whoa.....I don’t remember seeing anything in the Constitution regarding Flowers as a Right.

(Receptionist) It is not really a Right in the Constitution, but ObamaFlowers is Constitutional because the Supreme Court Ruled it a “Tax”. Taxes are Constitutional. But we feel it is a Right.

(Customer) I don’t believe this...

(Receptionist) It’s the law of the land sir. Now, we anticipated most people would go for the Silver Package, so what is you monthly income sir?

(Customer) Forget it, I think I will forgo the flowers this year.

(Receptionist) In that case sir, I will still need your monthly income.

(Customer) Why?

(Receptionist) To determine what your ‘non-participation’ cost would be.

(Customer) WHAT? Your can’t charge me for NOT buying flowers!

(Receptionist) It’s the law of the land, sir, approved by the Supreme Court. It’s $9.50 or 1% of your monthly income.....

(Customer)interrupting) This is ridiculous, I’ll pay the $9.50..

(Receptionist) Sir, it is the $9.50 or 1% of your monthly income, whichever is greater.

(Customer) ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What a ripoff!!

(Receptionist) Actually sir, it is a good deal. Next year it will be 2%.

(Customer) Look, I’m going to call my Congressman to find out what’s going on here. This is ridiculous. I’m not going to pay it.

(Receptionist) Sorry to hear that sir, that’s why I had the NSA track this call and obtain the make and model of the cell phone your are using.

(Customer) Why does the NSA need to know what kind of CELL PHONE I AM USING?

(Receptionist) So they get your GPS coordinates sir

(Door Bell rings followed immediately by a loud knock on the door)

(Receptionist) That would be the IRS sir. Thanks for calling ObamaFlowers, have a nice day...and God Bless America.

No, but he has millions of obedient minions with guns, body armor and lots of ammunition. We have the House of Representatives led by weak and compromised geldings.
