"I'd suggest making a humble admission of crossing a line publicly, which he has done, and a sincere apology to those he offended," says Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants. After that, he suggests Robertson sit down for "a one-on-one interview with a trusted host, preferably from the gay and lesbian community, or someone that is popular amongst the LGBT community."
This guy doesn't get it.

Quickly pass? Seems to me like it’s pickin’ up steam hourly. The ever tolerant a&e may have kicked the wrong hornets nest.

Scandal? LOL!
To the Yahoo libtards, telling truth is scandalous.
Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

I’d suggest adding a new character to the show - gay cousin Steve from New Orleans.

I thought I heard on Meghan Kelly last night that the OTHER members of the family called A&E and told them they could not see doing the show without him, and they would be having a meeting this morning to “see what that means” for the future of the show.
Glenn Beck offered to carry the show- which i think would be AWESOME
I am enjoying the heck out of watching Glenn build an empire from scratch.

“Robertson has the conservative A-list rushing to his defense, from Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity to Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal. And fans have flooded Twitter and comment sections speaking up for Robertson.”
Thankfully, we have a few Conservative leaders who will stand up with Phil with his views on gays and the impact of the Civil Rights movement.

...in the wake of the patriarch's polarizing comments on gays and African Americans? Now they're saying he made "polarizing" comments about African Americans?
When does the lying stop. You know, besides the practice of homosexuality, the practice of bearing false witness against your neighbor is just as sinful and detestable as a practice.

"I think A&E should sit and wait to see what the public response is, and more importantly, how Phil acts. Does he show some level of remorse and is he willing to understand what he did was wrong, or will he continue to be belligerent and offensive?"
This guy REALLY doesn't get it. This would lose Phil's base faster than anything I can think of.

Experts? There are “experts” who care about these people? I had never heard of these people before this story. Now I am sorry I know who they are...and what they are. Experts? Really?

What he is not taking into account is old style family loyalty. It will be a dull show with none of the family participating.

The reason evil tyrants kill Christians is because they can’t be bought off or beat into submission like pagans can. They know the living God personally. It is His power that keeps them steady.

They really don’t know how to deal with people with principles and values that don’t need their money and have little desire for fame for the sake of fame alone. I predict that the DD clan will do JUST FINE in the wake of this, however it works out. On top of everything else they are smart businessmen.

My understanding is the next season - with Phil - is in the can.
So, I think A&E ought to stand by their principles and offer that season to another network for free. Refuse to air it. That is the only way to "suspend" Phil, right?
What A&E is doing now is dishonest. Appease the gay lobby but make millions off another season. Come on, A&E grow a pair. Oh, that's right . . .
To: rocksblues
They’ll take their show to INSP or some other Christian network and rocket them to the top of the ratings.
