Stupid?

You made the comparison to yacht builders not me.

I pointed out why the comparison failed - and you call me stupid... Hmm...

My point all along is no one in business should be being favored by government with loans/subsidies and you, again, call me the stupid one... Hmm...

Giving a man a fish every day is only a good idea if you are trying to get rid of too many fish.

But if you try to sell fishing tackle, you’re probably catering to the rich.

according to Wiki:

A host can either pay for the hour out of his or her own pocket or find local businesses to sponsor the show in exchange for advertising.

That is amazing alright... carries Limbaugh and it’s supported by donations?

This article is stupid.

I actually prefer gov’t investing in someone coming up with innovative ideas and creating jobs, rather then bailouts and money going to welfare leeches

It is true that he has signed on to The Giving Pledge, meaning he will give most of his wealth away before he dies.

Soooo, he could die a pauper but that isn’t good enough for some people???

When billionaires do this, they put shares of stock into the foundations, which avoids any tax on the capital gains from those shares.

The real evil is that the foundation using the returns from those investments to fund new world order agendas, things like socialism/communism, controlling the medical and food industries (all over the world), controlling education, etc. And forever, going forward, the investment gains on the foundation's investments are not taxed, so it's a tax-free agenda-funding mechanism. The "future generations" they are really helping are future generations of new world order financial elites.

Of course, part of the benefit is also that, in the minds of most of the public, this will forever remove the donor's name from the "evil rich" that the new world order media continually propagandizes about. So the net effect is that although the sheeple are whipped up into anger about some mythical "evil rich", all of the actual "evil rich" are either well-liked and respected by the sheeple on the political right or the sheeple on the political left.

This is why voting "Republican" does nothing to stop all those agendas; the total assets being used this way is well into the hundreds of billions if not more.

New world order helps new world order, person to person. This is why the founders of tech companies that attend the elite universities can have startup equity financing at the snap of a finger - NWO knows that those "entrepreneurs" will stick to the NWO agenda no matter how wealthy they get.

Does any of this new world order-controlled capital provide equity financing for main street mom and pops ? Absolutely not. They can apply for a loan if they take on the debt personally, that's it.

government does not invest, first it steals it from someone else and gives it to a crony.

Elon Musk and his companies should earn the money, not have it stolen on their behalf

He is a creative problem solver who looks to the future. However, his products serve only the wealthy and elite.

He is a corporate welfare queen who fleeces anyone he can. Musk must be snake oil.

It’s so obvious only a moron could not see it - but it’s tricky and subtle. I only started to get it recently.

Lol, it's not like you weren't told.

Stop it, you are making sense. Musk makes cars that greenies like, so he is wrong by default around here. Never mind that we had the case a few years back of some state lefties raising taxes on yacht makers which had a ripple effect on workers and the local economy. They were roundly and rightly criticized here and across the country even though the boats were designed exclusively for the rich.

The Tesla business model is to expand to consumer cars by 2015, which the author gets wrong and consequently makes everything he says after a bunch of unrelated half-truths. The factory in Fremont is only using 20% of its floor space. They have plenty of room to expand.

Will it work? Yes, for short range driving. Elon thinks he has a plan for long range driving using a nation-wide series of exclusive charging stations which I don’t see as a solution for most people. I have spoken with two owners who have used the SoCal chargers for leisure long range trips (a retired firefighter and retired physician) but they are impractical for most people due to the length of time needed to charge (1.5 to 2 hours).

If capacitive batteries ever reach the capacity needed for these cars, all bets are off. Every fast food restaurant then becomes a 3 minute service station.

I understand people who have never driven the Tesla thinking its like the electric cars of the past. It is not. I have driven one in LosAngeles, during rush hour traffic on several trips that had us running for 2.5 to 3 hours, with the AC on high doing 5 mi over the limit (70 to 75 mph) when we were out of traffic. And no, the car is not mine.

This is a powerful vehicle that jumps off the line like a private jet. It maintains that power at every speed, so if you’re going 65 and need to pass someone, it takes off.

There are other promising technologies which will also require infrastructure development but Tesla is developing ts own charging infrastructure which makes them very unique in the automobile industry.

The man is undergoing an extraordinary effort to bring green power to the masses, and people demonize him because the transition isn’t perfect, complete, instant and free.

The first serious published work on the racketeering behavior of the extremely rich was published in 1954: Foundations: Their Power and Influence, by Rene Wormser. I am astonished that it is not more widely read. Judith Reisman's Kinsey: Crimes and Consequences makes for a very good special case illustrating Wormser's thesis.

So long as the system is there and in his favor, we can expect him to use it.
He’d find a way without it, but he can’t compete if he doesn’t use the system as is when his competitors do.

Just consider him a prime example of what’s wrong with the system and why the SYSTEM needs fixing.

Elon’s goal is to make GOOD electric cars available to the masses.

In this regard, he competes with GM, Ford, Chrysler-Fiat, Mercedes, BMW, VW-Audi, Toyota, Nissan-Renault, Honda, Mitsubishi, etc.

IOW major vehicle firms see reason to work on electrics.

To varying degrees, governments take interests in developing vehicles they feel may be low polluters, and energy efficient.

That is reality, which may not conform to some folks’ ideas how the world of business works.
