yes, I heard something about this on the radio. Robertson, for whatever reason that I can’t remember, left the school (or the team?) and Bradshaw got the spot. Very interesting.

If Paul Harvey were alive, maybe he would make a “....rest of the story” about it.

He didn't leave the school--ultimately, he earned a Master's degree in education. Instead, he gave up football, deciding that, paraphrasing his words, he didn't want to go to the NFL and be chased around by large, violent men.

Is that not weird how life works?

Had Phil kept on and signed with the Steelers, he'd have 4 rings on his fingers.

Now Terry, who was considered just a "mediocre" QB at the time is enjoying his fame and acclaim.

But Phil loved hunting more than football.

And God bless BOTH of them, they ended up living their dreams.

Ironically, Phil is MUCH wealthier than Bradshaw.

Nothing against Terry.

I'd wager that Phil is happier about how his life turned out.
