While shopping this year I have noticed a huge trend and I think it is indicative of a radical change coming. Store clerks, shoppers, restaurant personnel are all saying Merry CHRISTMAS in a very unapologetic aggressive manner. I hear it everywhere and I think it is a revolt.

It used to be tradition. Maybe we are just going back to what was.

I am hearing the same thing from them. I even heard it from my Chinese masseuse and she’s Buddhist. It is as though, as you said, they say it in defiance.
