When Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Mike Lee, Joe Wilson, Trey Gowdy, etc, shed their “R” label, you have a point. Until then, you are just ranting and insulting the good guys.
Gee, there are some really bad Republicans. Really? Newsflash? Duh.
Three of the half dozen that you named don’t even hold elected office. Some bad republicans? I think it’s far more accurate to say there are some good Repulicans. And when I say some the number that would actually pull the trigger to significantly reduce the power of the federal government would likely be single digit. The rest would need to be replaced through the electoral process, which is nearly impossible because the framers designed the system to prevent “throw the bums out” tactics. Article 5 was added to be a remedy for this very situation. In my opinion we should try to Elect as many Ted Cruz types as we can be just keep in mind this is not going to return us to a constitutional republic. It will only slow the decline into tyranny. In my opinion article 5 is the only solution that could actually work.
There’s also that thing called primaries.
I guarantee you the whiners and bitchers here won’t do one thing to lift a finger and help get conservatives elected there either.
