I tell ya Jim, Obama is likely the end of the Republic, BUT, better that the end be on Obama's watch than on the watch of the Republicans.

Let the history books show who really did this.

Sorry Laz, I don't care who destroyed our Republic, whether it be Dems or RINO's. History will show they are both responsible for the destruction that our brilliant Founding Fathers created. Just too unfortunate those guys in wigs could not have put in an Amendment for term limits. But then, they thought some would serve and then go back to their farms.

If I were King of the USA for a month in no certain order:

1. Term limits;
2. Reduced Congressional sessions, much like Texas every two years, and shorter sessions;
3. ALL laws apply to all branches, departments, and staff;
4. Repeal the 17th Amendment;
5, Grand-father ALL legislation to four years, except for military funding;
6. Eliminate many agencies and departments: EPA, Interior, Homeland Security (redundant), and so so many others. Let those bureaucrats get real jobs. Fire them all like Reagan did with air-traffic controllers;
7. Enforce our borders and that includes kicking out illegal children. Let Mexico deal with them;
8. Concealed carry in every State or on a National level;
9. Eliminate death taxes;
10. Reduce other taxes and regulations that stifle business;
11. Make a Fedgov law that no one loses their home due to municipal property taxes. That works within the 14th Amendment. One Fedgov law I could live with;
12. ALL new legislation by Fedgov must past original (not perceived) Constitutional scrutiny by a non-partisan organization like the OMG;
13. Lastly, Congress repeal the right of the President being able to put our airmen/troops in harms way just because he thinks he's doing the right thing within 60 days?. Stop being the policemen of the world and just kick the shit out of anyone who attacks our way of life - no mercy, including nukes.

I have other Laz, but not sure I can say it on this forum. What do you think about the above?

Forgot to mention in my month as King and making all that happen, I would step down and retire to Figi after appointing decent Constitutional men to keep my dictates in line. If they screw up from there, well, I'm in a hut just off the water.

Got your vote for me as King? I vote for me! Got signs?
