In what has been described as the "first scandal of the de Blasio administration," Lis Smith, a former Obama campaign aide and current spokeswoman for New York City mayor-elect Bill de Blasio's transition, is reportedly dating disgraced and still-married former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.
According to a report in the New York Daily News, Smith, who had worked for Spitzer's failed campaign for comptroller, has been in a relationship with the "hooker-scandal-disgraced ex-governor who’s been living apart from his wife."
Spitzer is 56 and Smith is 31.

Yawn! So let me get this straight . . . all the time Spitzer was doing the talk show circuit saying how contrite he was . . . that was just a big lie? She was Spitzer’s spokesperson spinning lies about how supportive his wife was of the campaign? Then to curry-favor among Democrat loyalists she had to announce how Spitzer had just voted for Obama when in reality he didn’t even take time to vote? I guess some people can get into a trend of pathological lying and wanton fornication and Spitzer and Smith are both on a roll!
