Very easy commutes today, both directions! This morning we had rain and temps in the low 60's. Temperature fell through the day - about 50 when I left work - now barely 40 with a strong wind.

Tomorrow a half-day, then the madness begins!

Today is 2 1/2 days compressed into one and a quarter. The payroll has to be done/complete/over/sent by noon tomorrow. A mad scramble day. Homework tonight, but it is going fairly smoothly regarding corrections so far.

Good evening, yarddog....we have helicopters fly over the house on occasion from Fort Rich and Elmendorf AFB.

I love the sound of the helicopters too. As you say, the sound of freedom. This one was probably from Rucker and maybe headed to Eglin or possibly Pensacola since it has Marines written on it. It came right over my house.
