Did G*D give you copyright permission to re-print all of that? :-) Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Mark 16:15
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Uhh, yep!
This is an error or Luke 3:23 is in error. They are both the linage from David
To Joseph? That is not the proper linage anyway. Jesus was the Son of God!! Not David. Joseph had zero blood relation to Jesus. But thanks for posting. Merry Christ birth . He was the Son of God.
Amen, my brother.
But PLEASE do thank Joseph for saying “yes” to marrying Mary for caring and raising the Son of God.
From the NRSVCE:
“Luke 2
New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)
The Birth of Jesus
2 In those days a decree went out from Emperor Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This was the first registration and was taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 All went to their own towns to be registered. 4 Joseph also went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was descended from the house and family of David. 5 He went to be registered with Mary, to whom he was engaged and who was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. 7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
The Shepherds and the Angels
8 In that region there were shepherds living in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for seeI am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: 11 to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah,[a] the Lord. 12 This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host,[b] praising God and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors![c]
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, Let us go now to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us. 16 So they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger. 17 When they saw this, they made known what had been told them about this child; 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them. 19 But Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.”

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to All
God had made a promise to His servant David of a kingdom that would last forever, and a perpetual ruling line. To fulfill this covenant, Jesus had to be in the royal line. However, there was a problem with the royal line, because God had cursed the line with Jeconiah, in Jeremiah 22:30, and none of Jeconiah's descendants would prosper on the throne of David. If Jesus had been the real son of Joseph, He would have come under this curse- the curse that the descendants of Jeconiah would not sit on the throne of David. But for Jesus to inherit the rights to the throne of David, he had to be the legal son of Joseph. This problem was solved through the virgin birth of Jesus, and since Joseph married Mary, Jesus became the adopted son of Joseph and inherited the rights to the throne. At the same time, in Jesus Gods promise to David was fulfilled in that he is the actual seed of David through Mary.
Merry Christmas!!

(Mods, please be nice and leave this great news in the sidebar?)
You agree thar Jesus is God’s son. He is not of David. Mary is not mentioned
In Luke 3:23. That linage is from David to Joseph. Not Mary. Either the linage in Matthew 1 is wrong or the linage in Luke is wrong and both are erroneous assertions that Jesus was related to David who violated all 10 of the commandments of God given to Moses and could never have entered the Kingdom of heaven because he did not have Christ.
