Yes, praise God, she has a fourteen year old daughter and a thirteen year old son. She found a doctor who knew to send her to a surgeon who performed a procedure called a circlage, that sews the cervix shut until just a few weeks before the due date. It also requires bed rest.
Oh, good, good. A friend of mine had circlage and it was pretty stressful to be in bed practically continuously through the pregnancy (she had another child, 5 years older, too) but her husband came through like a champ, took care of her and the kid(s), ran the household, went to work, was there for the birth ---- everybody doing fine.
Good mothering takes good husbanding! Thank God for all these blessings.
