Obama's Secular Christmas Message: Cookies, Basketball and 'Holiday' Traditions
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 12/25/2013 9:56:33 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

Here is the heart of President Obama's official Christmas message: "This is a season for millions of Americans to be together with family, to continue long-held holiday traditions, and to show our gratitude to those we love. And along the way, some of us might even watch a little basketball or eat some Christmas cookies, too."

Ah yes, cookies and basketball: that's what Christmas is about for the President. Oh, and yes, those "long-held holiday traditions."

More here.

Obama: “Yeah, well, Merry Xmas.”

“But Eid-al-Fatr, that’s a sacred holiday.”

“No mention of the Birth of Jesus as almost all presidents have done in the past.”

Just the signs of the times!

Those two again! Just the thing to turn a Christmas into a Halloween. Watch and see, soon after his second term, if he serves that long, Obama will come out again, this time as a Freemason, disguised as a Muslim who acts like an atheist.

Obama's a "Black Liberation Theology" communist. He should be celebrating Kwanza, not Christmas

"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,
African American Religious Thought: An Anthology (Paperback)
by Cornel West (Editor), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. (Editor)

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"

WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.

HANNITY: But I'm a — reverend

WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Those who don’t believe in God are happy when obama has nothing to do with Christmas. The rest will say “I didn’t vote for a preacher.”

Pitifully shallow words from the Office once held by George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams and other learned men who understood the essence of liberty and its connection to the Spirit of this Holy Season.

Newburyport, July 4, 1837:
"In the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior...It forms a leading event in the Progress of the Gospel dispensation...

Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth?

That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity and gave to the world the first irrevocable pledge of the fulfillment of the prophecies announced directly from Heaven at the birth of the Saviour and predicted by the greatest of the Hebrew prophets 600 years before."

Just don’t say Merry Christmas or mention Jesus. Or try to send a card to a Veteran.

Obama is a mirror image of secularists, leftists, hopeless, and the gullible. He is the president of narcissists and the selfish.

Contrast Zero's banality and vapidity with a clip from Ronald Reagan in his Christmas message:

"On Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Christ with prayer, feasting, and great merriment. But, most of all, we experience it in our hearts. For, more than just a day, Christmas is a state of mind. It is found throughout the year whenever faith overcomes doubt, hope conquers despair, and love triumphs over hate. It is present when men of any creed bring love and understanding to the hearts of their fellow man."

And there were in the same country basketball players abiding in the field, keeping watch over their court at midnight. And, lo, the angel of the community organizer came upon them, and the glory of the community organizer shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great cookies, which shall be to all who hold EBT cards. For unto you is born this day in the city of Honolulu and/or Nairobi a Dear Leader, which is Barack the Obama. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the One wrapped in clothes of the upper class, lying every time his lips move. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising the community organizer, and saying, Glory to the community organizer in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward unions and those who pay up to our enforcers.

I wonder if you remember the Marlboro Man of Fallujah from 9 years ago. Do you think he”ll be talking to his mother about Obamacare?

Can you work up a picture of him and PJ, I sure don’t have such skill.?

Obama needs a lot of prayer. If God can bring Newton to his knees and inspire Amazing Grace God can touch Obama’s heart!

Amen.
Christ came to save sinners.
Step 1: Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Step 2: Repent and throw yourself down at the mercy of the Lord. Ask for His help to overcome your sin.
Step 3: Serve the Lord with all your heart and all your soul.

Most people, blinded by their pride, never get past Step 1.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
