We are also Jewish and totally agree.
Some are blind to the common enemy of Jews and Christians, because most of those never go to shul, never celebrate Shabbat (Reform) and are totally lib.

Sadly Muslim culture is not compatible with the values of the Enlightenment which are actually based on the Judeo-Christian experience. As far as squabbles, indeed it is time to recognize that a holiday that celebrates peace, joy, childhood glee and brings families together is something that should be enjoyed by everyone in some way.

The worship described in the gospels is pure Judaism being practiced by Yeshua and the disciples, and in the Acts and the epistles it is the same Judaism fulfilled by the perfect sacrifice, but you’d never know it by the comments that get posted.

Churches at christmas are the perfect example of what I meant. The traditions of christmas are a total distortion of the circumstances of his birth.
Christmas day is usually a pretty quiet affair for Jewish people. Most spend it as a day to relax and catch up, watch movies, go to friends, eat Chinese food, have family over or just simply listen to Christmas music and read the ads for the after-Christmas sales.
