The Dixie Chicks are owed an apology. Toby Keith was a big part of their destruction over what they said. Seems to me like Keith has said some things much worse. One said they’re ashamed to be from the same state as the president. The other said Obama is the best thing since Clinton. If I had to choose, I’d be with the Chicks. And I never did like them.

Well, to be fair, he said the best Democratic candidate since Clinton, which boils down to basically “better than Al Gore”. Still a stupid statement, but maybe not as stupid.
