Phil Robertson can go back to work thanks, in part, to New Media outlets which rallied to the reality star's side.
A&E announced it will resume filming Duck Dynasty, along with family patriarch Phil Robertson, in the spring. The show had "indefinitely suspended" Robertson earlier this month after an interview he gave to GQ magazine hit the news cycle. The unabashed Christian called gay sex, along with greed and adultery, a sin and wondered how a man could prefer another man's anus to a woman's vagina.

Oh good. Now I can quit worrying about him.
A&E BLINKED at the bottom line.
A&E statement:
“But Duck Dynasty is not a show about one mans views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A+E Networks also feel strongly about.”
Baloney. It was about the money. They already knew about Phil Robertson’s beliefs. After discussions with an activist group, they suspended Phil.
We see through your bull, A&E. You’re not fooling anyone.
“... We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio.”
So they’ll run free ads for homos during the show.
That ought to work out real well.
Cash registers ringing have more sway than gays a whining.
What happened to jesse james?
I hope they can leave A&E

... because we think the majority of our viewers are racist-sexist-homophobes who need sensitivity training.
“We here at A&E will tolerate everything anyone out there throws at us, except Biblical values. We consider all believing Catholic and Protestant Preachers who speak the truth found in Scripture to be promoters of hate. Your intolerant views will not be respected at A&E. Or God’s.”
They’ve had offers from other networks. I hope they leave too.
Translation: Keep the eyeballs and the money coming to us, even though we hate everything you stand for”.
Be funny if they walked anyway - they don’t need the money after all. I can think of some “contractual obligation” themes to fill out the rest of this season if needed - how about the Robertsons sit around and read the Bible out loud for the remaining shows?
So A&E straddled the fence - they suspended Phil temporarily (when he wasn't actually working anyway) to mollify the gays, then put the show right back on the air.
The result of all this drama? Phil is more famous than ever. Lots of people will tune in to Duck Dynasty just to see what the fuss was all about. And more merch is being sold, lining the Robinsons' and A&E's pockets.
Winning...
Oh good. Now I can quit worrying about him.
Yeah. I lost a lot of sleep worrying he'd get his feelings hurt.
A&E needs to learn tolerance of Christians... They’ve got ‘tolerance’ of elite liberals, gays, etc (every dem victim group) down pat...
Oh please, the suspension was never going to last, the weren’t going to kill the goose, they were just making a show. “New media” had nothing to do with it.
They didn’t blink, they were ALWAYS going to unsuspend him. Make sure you watch the show now, which was the point of the whole thing.
Whoops. I thought they were going to target the GLAAD types...
Is HomoWood going to tolerate Christianity and the Bible now?
Pray America is Waking
