The Wolf is not an indictment of capitalism.
It’s an indictment on NYC’s progressive culture.
Move Wall St to a Red area and watch the corruption stop.
I wonder if Americans will pick up duck calls to quack at protests (gay pride parades and such) and if others would catch the reference.
Of course moral relativism and liberalism is the cause, but you know the movie will trash America and capitalism.
That is brilliant.
In an America where Obama was elected, then reelected with 52% of the vote why would anyone be surprised that decadence sells and that Hollywood would profit? Martin Scorsese who directed Wolf of Wall Street was an ex- seminarian as was Josef Stalin.
Movies and cable series these days are so depraved they are unwatchable and pornographic.
I spend 99% of my T.V time on the internet watching old westerns and series where the Lords name means what it means. Hollywood can stay in the Hell they have created and call “art”.
The Author speak of Hollywood as if he just discovered it’s sins./
Women have been made movie stars for years after they have proven themselves on the casting couch. Not only women but men also , remember Rock Hudson? He spent some time on the couch too. and a lot of others. Homosexuals have been held as heroes in Hollywood almost as long as Hollywood existed. Sex has been the pass key to stardom. As for Nepotism, Hollywood is filled with it. Most Producers and stars have a relative or two that got them started. Nepotism is Hollywood. When we look at Nepotism , lets look at Washington. That too is filled with Nepotism Does anyone really believe Chelsea got her sweet job because she was the best at what she did-—if anything.
The depravity of Hollywood has become impossible to ignore.
Most people derive their moral compass and their conscience from the culture and from the surrounding society. They have no way of gauging when the culture itself has become diseased.

Great article. Thanks for posting.
In Hollywood, you are either good at what you do or you are good at who you do.
Did you see the movie? It's based on a memoir. It's a no-holds-barred indictment of Wall Street excess and greed, and this story is from back in the 1980s. Nobody leaves that movie saying "I want to be an out of control sleazebag who screws everyone over in every conceivable way for my personal advancement"
I suspect people leave that movie disgusted and wishing we could go back to the traditional rule-by-law fair play capitalism that made the US great.
Exactly, they are nothing but a molder of the liberal cult.
Pray America is Waking
I don’t need to see another hate capitalism movie and not going to vote with my dollars. Especially that piece of trash.I know them better than they do.
Pray America is Waking
Now that is funny!
The porn industry is losing money right and left.
Very difficult to produce a profitable product when the competition is free. YouPorn, etc. are destroying the industry.
I repeat: The Wolf of Wall Street IS NOT a “hate capitalism” movie. It’s a memoir of a sleazebag.
Apparently you are the only one who didn’t notice the anti-capitalism message:
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2013/12/24/wolf-wall-street-ode-excess
And another:

It wasn’t about the subject but the hypocrisy of their definition of morality.
