A&E's decision to reinstate Phil Robertson on Duck Dynasty shows the network has "chosen profits over African American and gay people," the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) said on Saturday.
"Phil Robertson should look African American and gay people in the eyes and hear about the hurtful impact of praising Jim Crow laws and comparing gay people to terrorists," GLAAD said in a statement. "If dialogue with Phil is not part of next steps then A+E has chosen profits over African American and gay people -- especially its employees and viewers."
Roberts was suspended from the hit show after he gave an interview with GQ Magazine in which he made anti-gay comments and said he didn't see black people suffering inequality before the civil rights movement. On Friday, the network released a statement saying he would return to the show in 2014.
"After discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family," the release stated.
In a statement to Fox News, the family said they were "excited to keep making a quality TV show."
"We will continue to represent our faith and values in the most positive way through Duck Dynasty and our many projects that we are currently working on," they said in the statement. "The outpouring of support and prayer has encouraged and emboldened us greatly."(continued)

Phil said that, when growing up in the old South, before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, that he never saw black people mistreated. He said all races of people got along together okay. He said he worked in the cotton fields with black workers.
Based on the above, the liberals extrapolated his comments to say that Phil was in favor of the old Jim Crow laws.
With regard to sin, he mentioned homosexuality and terrorism along with numerous other sins, which God would need to sort out. So based on that, the liberals are saying Phil thinks homosexuality is on the same level as terrorism.
The liberals at G.L.A.A.D. sure have had a hissy fit over this haven’t they? They are used to getting their own way. They expected that Phil would get the Paula Deen treatment, that Phil would grovel before the arbiters of political correctness and beg for forgiveness for offending their sensibilities. Instead Phil did not cave in. And in the end, neither did A & E.
I’m still waiting for a GLAAD and CAIR sit down meeting.
The Sodomites are always trying to attach themselves to Melanin-wealthy Americans. One is a choice (to engage in sinful behaviour), and the other is genetic (non-sinful behavioiur -- made in the image of God). Ironic since the "African Americans" tend to have a greater animosity towards Sodomites than the Melanin-impaired Americans - but the Sodomite league leaves them alone. After Proposition 8 passed (Yes to the Proposition that Marriage is between one man and one woman) in California - the Sodomites and their allies went after the Mormons (who supported Proposition 8), but left the Blacks alone (who also supported Proposition 8).
Pretty shameless in the way that the Sodomites try to legitimize their position ('me too! We are suffering just like the Black Americans in Selma, Alabamy...') - but when you are knowingly engaging in preverse and sinful behaviour -- the sky is the limit...

GLAAD just made this up so they have something to be mad about. As with anything you listen to or make decisions about you first must go to credibility. GLAAD folks are liars. This whole thing they are putting out are just plain fantasies. Not true, not factual and not said by Phil Robertson.
Not only have they cooked their goose as far as their credibility on this issue but they have now placed themselves at Jesse Jackasson's level of lies and zero credibility.
I do not agree with what Phil said but I spent over 20 years of my life serving for his right to say it. During those long years I also learned well the value of honor and honesty. GLAAD has neither.
