The most logical tig to do would be pull out, once the “peace of Carthage” has been administrated.

We owe that to those that serve ther now, and for all those who now inhabit the military cemeteries across the nation, and those that inhabit the various V.A. rehab centers.

Oh, and let’s not forget that arrogant guy we put in place there, too.

Of course, a blind man could see that coming.

The undocumented Tyrant would not let them shoot
back, and let the Taliban MURDER OUR HEROES.

And what has the US Congress done?
They EXEMPTED themselves and Moslems, like the Taliban
from their new unConstitutional taxes, fees,
fines and deathpanels.

hundreds of billions more wasted there.

over 1500 more US military casualties

All since Obama decided to fight a war that even “dumb” Bush was smart enough not to waste money and lives on.

Bah! The Iraqi and Afghan wars were fought for intelligence assets. So no such attack could be secretly planned against us again.
And to kill Osama.
It all quickly turned into a congressional money factory and then Reid and Pelosi turned the wars into a campaign strategy too.

We’re lucky to have a man left alive.

Most of the Middle East can only be governed by dictators, their cultures lack almost all the prerequisites of any degree of democracy.

With the exception to supplying opium to the world drug market what else does Afghanistan contribute to the world? Nothing! Bring home our troops, drop a nuke and be done with it.

Because the country is deeply rooted in tribalism and an undemocratic culture. Plain and simple.

Afghanistan, the war with irrelevant loss of life because Obama and his whore media deemed it the “good war”.

Where’s that picture of the helicopter on top of the embassy in Saigon. With the ladders full of people desperately trying to get onboard. That picture.

We’ll see it repeated. Very soon.

After Obama’s pull out of US troops Afghanistan will quickly revert to the 6th century Islamic hell hole it was before we invaded. I pity the Afghan people especially the women and girls as they will see the schools and hospital built and donated by the US torn down or destroyed and be put into virtual servitude. My real pity will be for the military families who lost loved ones in this no win war as they will see their sacrifice was for nothing.

I predict Karzai will either run or be killed within 2 months. I just hope we don’t take him in here.

The National Intelligence Estimate, which includes input from the country’s 16 intelligence agencies, predicts that the Taliban and other power brokers will become increasingly influential as the United States winds down its longest war in history, according to officials who have read the classified report or received briefings on its conclusions.

BAH! It took 16 intelligence agencies to figure that out? More progress would have been made if A-stan would have remained under the purview of SOF from the beginning. NO big Army/Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force/Coast Guard, and all the stinking NGO's running through the country. They have all contributed to making a soup sandwich out of the whole affair.

In 2003, we were taking unarmed, unescorted convoys from Bagram Air Base to Kabul 2x per week, and we never had a problem. NEVER.
Once all the big commands and their staffs marched in, things started going downhill. We have fought the same war 14 different times, and barely maintained our early gains.

The Afghans, OTOH, are capitalistic little b*stards who will do anything for a dollar today, knowing that they'll be able to charge $5 tomorrow. Americans, with their good-old-boy attitudes, are woefully prepared to conduct business negotiations with these little goat-ropers.
