A guy here (West Allis, WI) had his gun confiscated for having it on his hip while planting a tree in his yard (totally legal). He did get some cash back on the situation, but when he got his gun back it had been painted and rendered inoperable.

Good to hear. Now he should take that $1000 and get himself an M1 Garand. Or perhaps a Glock and a Remington 870. That seems like a good use of the city’s penalty for violating the Second Amendment!
