It seems as if the only legal difficulty in Hasan’s case is making sure that the wheelchair ramp built for the gallows in ADA compliant.
What’s taking them so long?

Pray for him, that God will reveal Himself through Jesus Christ to Mr. Hasan. When people become disillusioned, they often reach out for help. His request for a Bible may mean that he is looking for Spiritual health and help. And it’s possible he is merely looking for sympathy. If the Lord is able to save him, then whatever happens to Mr. Hasan is in God’s hands. That’s the best place for anyone to be.
