Depends on where you look. Since shedding ourselves of Jenny Granholm Michigan has been moving steadily to the right. We have all 3 branches of state government. We passed our RTW law a year ago. The majority of our representatives in DC are republican with 3 or 4 of them being tea partiers. We even put tea party backed committeemen on the RNC. Now it looks increasingly likely that we will get a tea party backed senator next year.

Agree with you. Most Americans, including many conservatives, won’t get off the couch or turn off the TV for even a few hours to participate in a Tea Party event much less engage in big fights against the Left. Lots of idle talk by the masses but little if any meaningful action by them is likely. Its too easy to just float down the river.
