Wishing you all a blessed and Happy New Year!!
But there will be a slight delay in starting our fundraiser. Having a bit of technical difficulty with our secure server certificate. It expired over the weekend and I was hoping John would have it updated before today. No such luck. And I haven't been able to reach him yet this morning to get a status update. Hopefully our FReepathon will be underway soon. Sorry about the delay.
Thank you all very much for your continuing support. Without you there would be no FR.
God bless.

In preparation for the ugly weather, my
precious wife is downstairs whipping up a batch of Magic Cookie Bars. Am I lucky or what? I love those things so much I start eating before they are really set up good. Warm ooey-gooey heaven. ;)

It's a thing of beauty!
Coconut, walnuts, chocolate...what else is in there?

WOW! She sure loves you, deo. I do, too, BTW, but not in the same way of course.

I think those are pecans.
I’m allergic to coconut.
I eat low carb, but I can make ooey gooey stuff as well.

There's Eagle Brand, a whole stick of butter, pecans, coconut, chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, and love!
Diet? Who said anything about a diet, lol!

I can’t eat pecans, but I can eat coconut. Mr. T makes all kinds of desserts using Splenda. We usually have dessert during the Christmas season; not so much during the rest of the year.

My wife uses Splenda all the time in her tea and coffee. I've tried, but just can't get past the taste.
How is it in desserts? Are there enough other flavors to mask the Splenda?

I can’t taste any difference, but it’s not the same as the type that you would put in tea or coffee. It comes in a large container, and is meant for baking.

Wonderful! You're right! Forget diets, (says she, who is drinking nothing but
SECURE with blended bananas all week), because I just think I ate too much of everything during November and December!
