Wishing you all a blessed and Happy New Year!!

But there will be a slight delay in starting our fundraiser. Having a bit of technical difficulty with our secure server certificate. It expired over the weekend and I was hoping John would have it updated before today. No such luck. And I haven't been able to reach him yet this morning to get a status update. Hopefully our FReepathon will be underway soon. Sorry about the delay.

Thank you all very much for your continuing support. Without you there would be no FR.

Remember the Obama skeet pic where the white hut warned to not modify the picture. There were more versions than I can count that came out immediately. LOL!

The first thing to do is look at the url. If it has ap, nyt, latimes etc or any other indication that it is from the FR copyright list [<---HotLink Yum] in it then it cannot be posted at FR.

Also if you are in doubt, do a google image search with keywords relating to the photo and check to see if the pic in question is there from a copyrighted source.

Tinypic/tinyurl, photobucket etc can be suspicious because many people will take copyrighted pictures and put them there to get around law. It's still illegal and can get FR in trouble.
