In addition to being clear, direct and concise, one of the great aspects of the US Constitution is that each clause and amendment is written in such a way that it is self contained and stands on its own.
Unlike the gibberish written by congress in modern times, intentionally meant to be confusing, uncertain and unclear, the Constitution was written to be understandable and unmistakable in content and meaning.
It is only corrupt politicians, academics and judges who maintain the self-serving pretense that the Constitution must be interpreted and deciphered.
