As the planet marked its fourth hottest year on record

Yeah, tell THAT to the idiots currently stuck in THE ICE in Antarctica.

Oh, irony....how I love thee.

I wonder what became of those polar bears these wackos released in Antarctica in order to save the species from extinction. Once they become established, there won’t be any more penguins. Or leopard seals for that matter.

Yeah, guess they didn’t notice Colorado ski resorts all opened early this year. Not quite record setting early (?) but even the ones that don’t make snow and rely on mother nature opened early.

Might want to point out to them that it is SUMMER in the Antarctic as well.

As the planet marked its fourth hottest year on record

Note that this sentence doesn't say, "the 4th hottest year on record in a row", or "the 4th record hottest year", or "the 4th time in the last 10 (or 20, or 50) years of record hot temperatures." It also doesn't specify where the "record" (or records) is set, locally or globally (although they imply global record temperatures).

The point is, they (the authors of the article) don't tell us any more than it's been the "4th record setting year since records have been kept", which can mean the last 3 to fall in this category could have been anytime in the last 100 years, and also the "record heat" set during this one (and the last three)'could have all been local events (say in the Arctic, for example) and not globally, or one could have been globally "hottest", while the other 3 could have been local increases in heat, or any combination of such grammatical, half truth game.

See how they can lie? See how it works with the media, how they aren't "technically" lying, but boy, how difficult would it have been to write the following sentence, "Last year was the fourth straight year of average global temperature increases, since records have been kept" (which is clearly what they want us to believe after reading what they DID write).

How difficult would it be to write that sentence above, if indeed it's the truth (and the only fact that really, could possibly be concerning)? It's not that difficult. This proves they are playing fast and loose with the "climate change" story. Again. It's proven because they did NOT write the sentence above, as written, even though they clearly want to imply it.

The media is truly the enemy of us all.

I'm waiting for them to report that it's “several million degrees” in honor of their hero Algore.

“4.000,750,451 degrees Fahrenheit reported in Buffalo New York yesterday, according to a consensus of Grant-paid scientists and government supremacist politicians”
