This is indicative of exactly nothing. Given the certainty this Administration will go after anyone or any entity they view as an enemy, you cannot blame Walmart for keeping the political contributions more or less equal. People and Businesses in the past never had to fear their Governments actions as far as a retaliation against them for making their political preferences known via contributions.

You are dead wrong.

Businesses put their campaign and lobbying money where they think it will most benefit their bottom line. It is purely pragmatic on their part.

This shift is from the fact that both see the benefit of crony capitalism vice the free market. Look at the contributions from defense contractors...they've known that for years...the rest of the big corporate community is figuring it out.
