[Rochester, NY] Mayor's new team member sidestepped full disclosure

Updated: Friday, January 3 2014, 07:06 AM EST Rochester, N.Y. - Mayor Lovely Warren's choice to help lead Rochester's Department of Neighborhood and Business Development did not disclose all about his personal history during the hiring process. City Hall confirms Spencer Ash was charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash on Culver Road last summer. Ash, who is paid over $109,000 a year in his new position pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while ability impaired. The mayor she did not hear about the accident until being asked about it Thursday.

Rochester used to be a nice pocket of Republicans

As it gets more democrat it has been going downhill fast

I looked up Mayor Warren’s bio on Wiki, and it came as no surprise.. no executive experience, no business experience, no history of managing a budget, managing a large organization, etc.

Certainly give Ms. Warren respect for her resume, but Rochester needed a strong leader with the right vision and a proven ability to effect it. I’ll be surprised if any good comes from Ms. Warren’s leadership. For the sake of family and friends that remain in Monroe County, I hope I’m wrong.
