I have had an Asian DIL for the past 18 years but don’t know if they have experienced anything like this.
I do know if they had, they would be annoyed and shrug it off as pure ignorance.
No press or lawyers involved. Ever.

People are beyond thin skinned anymore.... I can’t imagine being in an interracial relationship and not laughing at that term.

I watched and it was a White Guy with a Black Gal and a lot of Racist blacks really get pissed off over it.
I knew a couple that was a white guy and white gal and they told me the most hate they ever received was from the black community. They viewed the black gal dating a white guy as “selling out” and she was severely hated upon by even member of her own family, her cousin who dated a white woman was see as “taking a trophy” and was actually admired....
I would imagine the tag was more than likely marked by a Black Man or a bitter Black female.
But I am just speculating based on RL experience.

Right there at the end of the story. That’s why it will go nowhere.
I'm skeptical. I'm sure the tag has the phrase on it, but then so did the dinner check allegedly given to that fraud waitress recently.
When stories like this get widely disseminated to the media like this I tend to suspect that a professional race hustler is at work.
This was on the news last night. They showed the valet tag and it was clear that "Jungle Fever" was written in the same hand and at the same time as the make of auto.
The news report also stated that the valet was black.

It is a lot less likely to be a hoax because the man is white and gal is black.
The Black “Community” ie Jessie Jackson /Sharpton followers doesn’t like it when Black Women go outside their race.
Being a Black Woman and being in a relationship with anyone that isn’t black and is especially white will certainly get a Black Woman ostracized.
I would say the changes of it being a Hoax is 50/50 vs. if the racial makeup was opposite then it would be 95% chance of being a hoax.
If if is Legit I would say the person who marked the tag was probably Black themselves.
