That "every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen" as expressed by John Bingham and "every textbook referred to in any court" leading up to 1862 ... his words not mine. Forgive me for not re-writing history to accommodate contemporary personalities.

And John Bingham was neither a Supreme Court Justice authoring an opinion on the subject, nor was he a Founding Father; he was a Congressman.

His opinion is helpful...but not decisive.
